Being able to provide appropriate first aid should be a year-round priority for churches. However, with spring’s arrival and many churches starting to see an increase in events and visitors, now is a good time to be thinking about response readiness.
All items should be stored in a durable container that is easy to transport and open. Your kit should be easily accessible to adults but not children. Depending on the size and number of facilities on your church property, it may be necessary to have multiple first aid kits as every high traffic area should be equipped with one.
It is also important to regularly check your first aid kits. Be sure to replenish used items and replace expired products as needed.
Finally, your first aid kit should reflect your church’s unique hazards. It may be recommended that your church keep additional items on hand to help keep visitors safe depending on your risks. If you are unsure of what items to keep in your kit, contact your local police or fire department.
Whether you're a current customer or just thinking about it, we're here to help.
